Ductless air handling units

In an industrial environment, the effective management of energy resources is a vital component in achieving high energy efficiency. Ductless air handling units (AHUs) are a modern solution supporting ventilation and air conditioning systems in industrial facilities.

What is a Ductless AHU and How Does It Work?

This is a device designed for the direct heating and ventilation of rooms in buildings with various purposes, such as warehouses, industrial halls, shopping malls, or service facilities. A ductless AHU does not require a ductwork system to distribute air. Its main component is the external unit, which draws in outdoor air. The cooling or heating of the air stream occurs via a heat exchanger and a compressor integrated into the unit. It ensures clean, fresh air in the rooms and distributes it precisely throughout the building.

Where is a Ductless AHU Installed?

These devices are most commonly installed inside the building (e.g., in suspended ceiling spaces or technical rooms) or on the roofs of industrial, office, and residential buildings. Due to their compact size, they can easily be adapted to any space.

Our product range also includes the XK-P suspended AHU, designed for installation in ceiling zones and underfloor spaces. The XK-P suspended unit can be mounted in horizontal, vertical, or flat positions. It features a specialized casing that reduces noise levels. This device is ideal for installation in rooms where the building's architecture prevents the installation of larger equipment, such as the monoblock AHUs that we also offer. The XK-P suspended unit stands out for its high energy efficiency, as it is equipped with a heat recovery function. This can lead to significantly lower building operational costs.
