The XK series of compact units is a new range of ventilation and air conditioning devices offered by HVAC RATHERM. The new units are the result of continuous development and refinement in the production of monoblock systems. The use of the latest technologies, advanced material engineering, and the introduction of innovative structural solutions has allowed us to create a product that meets customer expectations.

The XK range was developed based on customer needs regarding the application, design, delivery, and operation of ventilation units.

All XK units are factory-equipped with a complete automation system, allowing the unit to be started immediately after installation and duct connection.

AIR HANDLING UNITS

Effective air exchange is essential in every building. A lack of proper ventilation can be extremely dangerous for the building's occupants. Insufficient oxygen levels, excessively high concentrations of carbon dioxide and other harmful gases can have very dangerous health consequences. Unpleasant odors, high humidity, and stuffiness are also symptoms of faulty or inadequate ventilation.

Our advanced ventilation units allow for effective yet rapid ventilation, even in the largest facilities. The implemented EC (Electronically Commutated) direct current fans significantly reduce electricity demand, thereby lowering costs.

Air conditioning equipment often operates under very difficult conditions. The steel used to construct the casing of the compact Ratherm XK ventilation unit significantly protects the device from damage, as well as adverse weather conditions.

RATHERM air conditioning units are also characterized by very good available static pressure.

REDUCED NOISE LEVELS

The use of modern components translates very positively into the reduction of noise generated by ventilation devices. A noticeable difference is felt when compared to lower-class units.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY AND HYGIENE CERTIFICATION

The compact ventilation and air conditioning units we manufacture comply with EU directives. The devices also hold a hygiene certification issued by the National Institute of Public Health. More information can be found in the download section.

EFFICIENCY OF THE COMPACT UNITS

One of the most important parameters of air conditioning units is their efficiency (capacity). This is an attribute that specifies the maximum amount of air that a given unit is capable of treating within one hour. The unit's capacity is expressed in m3/h. The required minimum capacity for a specific project is usually determined during the building's construction phase and depends on many factors, including its volume.

Our compact units achieve capacities ranging from 600 m³/h (for model XK 010) up to 32000 m³/h (for model XK 305). The available static pressure range varies from 150 to 600 Pa. For individual needs, we also develop sectional units with capacities of around 80000 m³/h.

HOW TO DETERMINE THE REQUIRED CAPACITY?

When making a decision about selecting the optimal compact air conditioning unit, capacity is one of the most important parameters. If changes are planned in the future, such as in the building's function or other parameters affecting the required capacity of the air conditioning unit, it is worth taking this into account right from the start.

TYPES OF FANS

RATHERM compact units are equipped with Electronically Commutated (EC) fans. Depending on the selected model, single or multiwall configurations are used. EC fans have motors with an integrated electronics system. This solution enables very smooth control of the fan's rotational speed, which translates into noticeably quieter operation of the unit, as well as lower electricity consumption. The fans used in our devices are characterized by high quality and long service life. This directly translates to longer, trouble-free operation of the entire unit and a reduction in the unit's operating costs.
